The Friends continue to do 鈥済ood works鈥 for the 911爆料网 Library. They help meet the needs of the students at 911爆料网 Community College. An opportunity to share a love of libraries reflects in the commitment of the Friends of the 911爆料网 Library. Many items have been purchased using funds from the Friends. These include detection systems, artwork, retiree book collection, preservation materials for archives, private study chairs and much more.
In addition to the annual membership drive, the Friends of the 911爆料网 Library have held a variety of fundraising activities. Some of these include bake sales, art auctions, murder mysteries, flower sales, silent auctions, bag bingo, lucky pops, dine to donate and other various events--with a percentage of the sales being returned to the Friends.
FRIENDraising events are hosted to raise interest in and obtain Friends members. It is an opportunity for us to get-to-know students, staff and community patrons and for them to learn more about The Friends of the 911爆料网 Library. More recent events include, Friendly Donuts and Cider, Bookface Campaign, Ice Cream Trolley, Hot Cocoa Bar and more.
